Edward Peake is a knight of House Peake of Greatmarket. He is married to
Alyn Moore and has had four children.
Appearance and Character
Edward has short bright orange hair and a moustache. He carries a sword, though he rarely uses it.
Edward is airheaded and stuttering. He almost always does whatever his wife says. He is considered
simple.
History
Edward's father, Robin, was obsessed with his two sons, Edward and Edmure, becoming knights. He trained the boys relentlessly so they could prepare. Some people joke that Robert "beat the brains" out of Edmure.
His marriage was
Roderick Moore's idea. Unsure of what to do with his lackwit nephew, Lord Unwin Peake married him off. The only way Alyn would agree to the marriage, is if she gained her own keep and the marriage was matrilineal. The marriage has benefited House Moore greatly with trade, and they have been able to spread their control over the Goodwater.
Edward's first two children did not live long, both sickly and pale. Alyn's four other children are strong and healthy.
