You know exactly who you are dealing with here. Mnuxim Mopo has been around Provenance for a good couple hundred years, a local philanthropist and recently appointed council member. But he loves to help other people indulge, though you’ve never seen him actually participate himself. He’s always got a drink in hand, but he’s giving them away and never consuming them himself. When he appears in front of you he’s got a wrinkle under his eye that says he’s got something special. “I’ve been waiting for you to show your face here, so I can feed it!” The gnome has a tray with a drink and an apple fried French toast with maple syrup.

This French toast dish is a rare treat. Creating it requires a DC 17 Cook’s Utensils check using Wisdom and three key ingredients. Buzzpurr honey, Maple Syrup from the North basin, and Twistenwheat from Twistenwud .

When completely eaten it grants the benefits of the Longstrider spell for one hour from when the last bite is consumed. The last bite may be preserved for up to three days and consumed as a Bonus Action.

Taste Check. When eating this dish you can make a DC 14 Cook’s Utensils check using Constitution to determine the one of the three ingredients (chosen at random). DC 17 determines two ingredients, and DC 20 reveals all three.

The drink he offers you has a fruity flare to it, a wine he came across. “Unsure of the vintage really, label aged clear off the bottle. But no point in hoarding mystery wine.” The drink is in your hand almost without you realizing it. “You know the deal” Mopo reminds. “Its on the house, as long as you tell me how it tastes.”
Incidentally, the wine is delightful. It is a dry red, but has a zest to it that you wouldn’t have expected. Particularly from a bottle that is older than any living human. Exactly how much older?
History Check or Glassblower’s Tools with Wisdom reveals the make of the bottle to be around 7 centuries old. Its got some ancient Thisplacian artistry in the neck of the bottle that gives it away.
