Zilargo

Zilargo was an illiterate halfling operative, who spent time under the employ / guardianship of the Knights of Rennfreid. Little is known of his life before his arrival in the town of Hilltop.

Zilargo frequently switched roles and responsibilities, partially due to his chaotic nature, but largely because of his willingness to do almost anything somebody asked him to do. His boundless optimism and unshakable self-assuredness made him a repeated target for the manipulation of mindflayers and nearly cost him his life numerous times. Repeated brainwashing only exacerbated his personality. He was known to be comfortable in any situation, and often found himself in positions of leadership. Bizarrely, he was often considered a good leader by those who worked under him.

His true political or ethical beliefs are unknown due to his erratic shifting of allegiances. He was both a potent agent of Mruhmirr and a loyal retainer of the Knights of Rennfreid, shedding blood for both, within the same afternoon. He was neither eager nor reticent to end life, but did so many times. Many considered him deeply untrustworthy.

Zilargo's final fate is unknown. During the Second Fracture, he vanished from the world stage.
