Andromeda
“Awaken, my champion. It is your time.”
Andromeda is the Worldsoul of Teralt and Gaea’s most powerful living child. Because Gaea sent her far away from her war against the Traveling Parents to keep her safe from them, she is separated from Earth by many light years.
Andromeda remained isolated in space, nameless and lonely but for the star she orbited. Eventually, she began to create plants and fungi to live on her.
At some point, a Library Door appeared on Teralt and a Child of Earth stumbled through. Out of curiosity, Andromeda dug into the human’s mind, reading his memories and seeing the world he came from. Instantly, she fell in love with the concept of animals and humanity, and she approached the man in a form which pleased him.
The two fell in love, and the human named her Andromeda. She then used his memories to create a world that would feel more familiar to him, populating it with familiar plants and animals, and creating new humans, though this new breed would be far less magically gifted than the ones created by and living on Earth.
Wanting to return to Earth to visit his family and friends, her lover created a portal that could transport an individual between the two planets, swearing to keep it secret from those on the other side, as he was afraid of the destruction he was aware his people could cause.
For a long time, the humans lived in paradise on Teralt, and Andromeda viewed them as her own children. Her lover passed away, but Andromeda gifted him with immortality by binding his soul to her world. He later became the first Judge on the Mountain of Living Winds.
Instead, Prometha performed this action, as Andromeda was wounded and wouldn’t be able to do so. This action sent the moon into a coma, but as the Worldsoul was not as strong as Andromeda, the Traveling Parent’s energy occasionally leaks out, turning the moon a blood-red color.
Later, the surviving Traveling Parent visited Teralt. Despite being the currently strongest Worldsoul, Andromeda was unable to destroy the fully-formed Traveling Parent and determined that the only way to prevent her own destruction would be to trap the entity within her body, using all of her energy for the rest of time to keep it imprisoned, thus forcing her into the Worldsoul equivalent of a coma.
