Amastasia Christina

Amastasia was a scientist working with the Order of the Profane Soul in the early 7090s. She was involved in early plane shifting experiments, until an experiment went awry and she faded into the Underdark. Being alone in the world of the drow, and of aberrations, she found the city closest to her and studied magic there. She studied in Aurin and learned how to harness the one-way planeshifting magic of the underwillow trees, and the process of creating a demiplane.
Upon returning to the Prime, she set up a demiplane to act as a private afterlife for the souls of herself and her descendants to reside in comfort until they choose to pass on into the ether. After her descendant, Edwarde Kemp of Spiritacre, was helped by Ace Ventura, the underwillow tree that acts as a gate to the demiplane was placed within the indoor garden of Hearthand State Asylum. 
She knows of old runic magic as she was once on a research team with the cloud giant Zephyros.
