The Devil Kas

Kas the Destroyer, also known as Kas the Bloody-Handed, was the vampire darklord of Tovag.
Kas became a vampire with the help of Vecna and through a ritual involving The Silver Mask of Kas. Menadora Zarovan claims that any other stories regarding the origin of his vampirism are lies spread by The Cult of Vecna.
Kas wielded in combat the Sword of Kas, a very ill-advised gift from Vecna. Kas served Vecna as his chief general. Kas turned upon his master and attempted to destroy the lich with the assistance of the sword. Vecna was irreparably maimed and the Hand of Vecna and the Eye of Vecna were brought into existence.
When the Dark Powers seized Vecna they also seized Kas that the latter might taunt and torment, and possibly also distract, the former. It is unclear what became of Kas's domain after Vecna escaped the Land of Mists.
