Mimir (The Rememberer, The Wise One) is a lesser-known yet powerful deity renowned in certain circles for his knowledge and wisdom, who was beheaded during the first interplanar war. Afterward, the Archdevil Fierna carried around Mímir's head and it recited secret knowledge and counsel to him.
Mimir's head had been passed around between different beings of power, from Fierna, to Talos, to Azrael himself, before finally winding up in Idunn's Garden, where he had been beheaded in the first place. Idunn cared for him there, until the gorgon Euryale captured her and poisoned the garden.
Mimir remained beneath the Life Tree until Elizabetha, Cain, Belurth and Kosvir arrived in the Poisoned Idunn and found him.
