A newly hatched dragon, called a wyrmling, lacks the freezing-breath associated with these types of dragons. Their wings droop and usual drag the ground until about two(2) days after hatching. It is about this time that the young dragon begins to develop their breath abilities and they learn to fly and hunt alongside a parent.
After about ten(10) years, the young dragon will leave the den to create one of their own. By this time they can fully control their ice breath and their scales have harden exponentially.
