Grand Marshall of the Iron Knights

From humble beginnings as a man-at-arms, Aldrik was elevated to knighthood for his consistent valor in the northern reaches. Soon after taking his oath as a paladin, he tired of the detachment from the plight of common man and set out on the road to defend travelers and act as a vanguard against injustice. Master of the sword, he reputedly defeated the infamous twin Eldritch knights "Feast" and "Famine" in combat during the Defense of the Steel Gate 10 years ago and was subsequently asked by Zirael Stormwind to oversee the training of the Iron Knights. Aldrik is known for the high expectations he holds of his men, eclipsed only by his self- expectations. His men, with equal parts fear and affection, refer to him as "The Grindstone" for his frequent rant that "The god of the forge himself would struggle to sharpen this dull, rusty lot into the ready blade of this nation!
