Montgomery

Overview:

Montgomery is a mysterious, spectral skeleton that travels across Bethos selling exotic goods. According to Montgomery, most people are unable to see him or the carriage he rides in making it difficult to find customers.  

Relationship With Party:

The party first saw Montgomery during session 2, but didnt interact with him until session 4. In this session, the party bought a variety of goods from the travelling merchant and established themselves as "valuable customers". Before leaving, Montgomery gave the party a summoning bell that they can ring to call on his services.   In session 5, the party used the summoning bell to call on Montgomery's services. They bought some more items and learnt that Montgomery was willing to take requests for specific items the party wants. After bartering, the party Montomgery for a ride to Baethorpe in his carriage. Montgomery did not mind doing his "valued customers" a favour and was genuily surprised when the party managed enter his carriage without falling through it.   Later that same session, Montgomery gave the party a ride back to the City of Vei'on. During this ride, Montgomery noticed Miles McDavis' head on Sir Clancey's hip and mentioned that Selkies are romoured to possess powerful resurrection magic.  

Appearance:

Montgomery is a tall, translucent skeleton that is draped in an engraved monicle, a tophat of perception, a blue polyester hoodie, and some dress pants. He can be found riding in an equally as translucent carriage that is drawn by two spectral horses.   According to Montgomery, he and his carriage are invisible and intangible to most mortals.
