Personal history
Crown Princess Celia was born as the only child to Queen Luna. She was raised in secret by her father, King Jonas, and her grandfather, King Leonardo, for the first five years of her life before the two passed away in an accident around her fifth birthday. After this, Luna went on a rampage, and Celia quickly learnt to stay away from her. She continued to use Intuition to avoid Luna for about a year. In an incident neither of them like to talk about, Luna mistook Celia for an assassin, and nearly took Celia's arm off.
After this incident, Luna realized that she was not the best mother, and tried to mend the relationship between her and her daughter. However, Celia was already traumatized several times over, and mistook Luna's words as threats. Seeing this, Luna backed off, leaving her daughter to do what she pleased while attempting-and failing- to run the kingdom.
Between the ages of 6 and 8, Celia consumed the knowledge available in the libraries, as well as learning from the servants who favored her. She learned at record pace, and this is likely where her addiction to Cuculo began. At age 8 she begged Luna to give her serious paperwork, and by age 9 she was running the kingdom in all but name.
Around the Queens' birthday, when Celia was fourteen, she met Duchess Aurora for the first time. Shortly after, they set up a time to meet for an hour daily. This continued on as normal until Celia had an awful week, and had a panic attack in front of Aurora. After this, Celia invites Aurora to Dayspring Garden, specifically Eventide Study, for a talk under pretenses of mistrusting her. She also uses this opportunity to gain access and entry to the wards around Dayspring, allowing Aurora indefinite access in the process.
Despite a few complications and misunderstandings, the two were soon closer than they had been before, and hung out in Dayspring often, with Celia doing her work as Aurora revitalized and decorated Dayspring. They were very close by the time of their deaths, and Celia shared quite a few family secrets with Aurora.
During the time between Celia and Aurora meeting and Celia's 17th birthday, a group discovered the existence of an old religion and began to worship the old goddesses of Waking and Dreaming. Celia, at one point, gave them a text that helped to further their goals, although she did it due to sleep-deprivation and the stress they put on her. Little did she know that these weirdos would cause her even more stress in the future.
The old religion grew in popularity, threatening the new religion and causing a series of events that caught the attention of the Goddess of Waking. This caused her to plot the spectacular downfall of the kingdom. She decided on poisoning Celia, with a poison that would force the victim to cough and poison others, dying in the process. The Waking Goddess then infiltrated Celia's 17th birthday party, planning to make her drink the poison.
Celia spotted the mysterious intruder, realizing that this was a divinity. She followed The Waking Goddess, keeping an eye on her throughout the party. Eventually it came time for the feast, where Celia was forced to drink the poison. Celia drank it, having no other option, but managed to keep from coughing until she was most of the way back to the room.
Everyone quickly noticed the poison fog and evacuated, with the Queen air-locking the castle magically while Celia was inside. Celia could not leave the castle, and simply sat near a window, outlasting the divine poison.
Celia eventually succumbed to the poison, dying only after the afterlife had gone to sleep in the Lethe, and the gods were about to reset the world. She remained forevermore, a ghost unable to go to the Lethe, and in grief forevermore. When she is not in hiding from the divine beings that killed her, she is standing in an empty afterlife, staring at the void as she blames herself for the tragedy that befell her kingdom.
Celia found a seal on her hand one day, magically binding her to the living realm. She later met up with the one responsible, who ended up becoming one of her friends. The other being the girl had magically bound together, as well as as the girl herself, also became Celia's friends after a while. They are responsible for her interacting with a few of Aurora's reincarnations, and responsible for reuniting the two.
