Baron/ Baroness of Hogan

Qualifications

The only qualification is that you must be a direct member of the Barnes family, and you must succeed in The Ceremony of Rightful Ownership.

Requirements

You must reach the age of 30.

Appointment

Generally the next member of the Barnes family too take the ownership of the village goes through most of their aging life learning how to run the village and becoming generally more knowledgeable. Once the child reaches the age of 30 they must go through The Ceremony of Rightful Ownership to be able to take the village under their command.

Duties

The Baron or Baroness of Hogan takes care of all large scale outside trade in the village. They also collects a general living tax from everyone to fund the city into expansion. They must make monthly check ups with meetings of the village to tell the state of finances and the plans for the next month of trading.

Benefits

She lives a very comfortable life, mostly, and gets to live in the largest house of the village. She also gets to keep a cut of the taxes she collects to use for herself.
