Vesryn's General Store

Purpose / Function

Vesryn General Store is the main general store in the village of Hogan. The owner of the shop, Vesryn is a very kind and understanding man and has been in the village his whole life.

Entries

The main entry way is very open space, an arc of stone lead to the center which contains the door, surrounding the door are two large glass windows that show the various potted plants in his home. The entrance to his basement and his attic are right below and above each other respectively, both of which are made of wood. They both are trapdoors.

Alterations

The biggest alteration was the implication of his basement that is now his storage area. This was one of the first alterations that he made to the store because he was tired of having storage in his room in his attic.

Architecture

Vesryn's General store is in the shape of a large box with a triangle on top. The outside is made of wood, and the inside is the same way except for the stone flooring. Rugs of various beast are all over the shop, and potted plants fill the area with a very interesting scent. He doesn't actually have anything on display, he has everything he owns in a large book he keeps under his counter, and goes to his basement made of stone to access these goods. The basement is behind the counter under a rug, and the ladder to his living area is also behind the counter. He knows exactly every single item in the main space of the general store, so if anyone tries to steal anything while he goes down to storage, he will know.

Defenses

No defenses are here except for the guards that guard the whole city.

History

Vesryn lived a very quiet life in Hogan, then at the age of 23 his parents left, but he stayed. He made their home into a store and built upon it over years and years. He send notes to his parents that live in the city of Diwell once a month so he can keep check of his progress.
