Mneseos was from birth more a son of Hephaestus than Poseidon. He was driven by an urge to master liquid rock (lava) and Molten Metal. He is said to have been given a ring by Hephaestus. In his 139th Year he lost his left eye in a forging accident - yet it is said to have been magically replaced by Hephaestus. It is said that this was the origin of the on-going loss of an eye by each Dwarf by some. Others say that this was the moment of evolution of the Dwarven Race as the replacements of the Cyclopes Race in the heart of Hephaestus.

Mneseos’s ring in an ancient artifact that was gifted to the great king before his ascension to the stars. It’s unique aura was designed to bring insight and wisdom to anyone who ever sees the fiery blue light that shines out of it’s magical Crystal. It is said to provide protection and good fortune to the person who owns it. However, exactly like the Axe of Dwarvish Lords - the artifact transforms the wearer into a Dwarf - in this case - the very First Dwarf, who along with his twin were the Prime Power of the Race.
