Purpose / Function

The Winter's Anvil is a weapons and armour smithy and shop found in Talvel's Point and supplies both the arms and armour of local militias, soldiers and adventurers, and the local smithy needs of the city and surrounding towns such as Kalbakkr and Talismark Farm.

Denizens

Because of the reputation, local smith Old Saemundr Karlison is a relatively recognisable name to the citizens of Frostern Hold and beyond. Even some artisans of Mylrond are impressed with this local Korg's craftwork. Saemundr himself is now very old and fat by the time of the Civil War and while is famous for his many masterpieces, he is infamous for his terrible negotiating skills.
Old Saemundr hasn't been seen down in the local tavern for weeks and his fellow patrons started to worry for his health. By the end of the Civil-War, Saemundr was heard muttering about a large order of blades and lights burn through the night at his forge. These weapons are for the surrounded Imperial army cut off by the Pack forces but he has been sworn to secrecy as to who the order is for.
