Arlan
Background
A Bearblood who guards the Phandalin Goldpocket's Coster. He met Linene Graywind in 808 and ever since has stayed in Phandalin protecting the shop and Linene herself.
Arlan spoke of his past, he's a rare breed of Bearblood, a Braunhaare, a Bearblood with auburn streaks that shoot through their roots. Genetically smaller, but still standing at about seven foot tall, Arlan has faced hardship through his youth. He was purchased in 794 at just fourteen years old, to work in a quarry on the Island of Abstabar, where he was born.
Ten years later, Arlan escaped the quarry and joined a resistance group of Braunhaares like him, The Pfotstorn. Through this organisation, Arlan was involved in a vast majority of resistance led campaigns and missions, all in the name of equality and peace.
One that was most notable was when he and a few others assisinated one of the high councillors of Abstabar, Councillor Griegen, in 807. Arlan knew he would be a wanted man after he was spotted mid act, and as such, under the helpful cover of the Pfotstorn, fled to Lockfate Holm, to which his story continues.
It isn't ideal for Arlan, but working for Linene and staying within the grasps of Phandalin is a far more better suited lifestyle than living under captivity on Abstabar.
