Structure
Veteran of Helm – A retired High Commander of the Realm, one who has been outvoted at the five yearly re-election. They are given a manor and riches for their dedication and service to the realm.
High Commander of the Realm - The High Commander of the Realm stands as the paramount authority within the Helm's Bulwark, charged with the oversight of all major military operations and strategic decisions concerning the defense of Terralia. Possessing unmatched tactical acumen and formidable leadership, they are the epitome of martial prowess and unwavering dedication to safeguarding the realm. The High Commander of the Realm is elected every five years, or when required, from the selection of Grand Guardians.
Grand Guardian - As the second highest rank within the Helm's Bulwark, the Grand Guardian embodies the pinnacle of martial skill and devotion to duty. Tasked with directing elite forces and coordinating critical defenses, they serve as the right hand to the High Commander, ensuring the realm's protection with unyielding resolve and valorous deeds.
Lord Warden - The Lord Warden commands respect and authority as a distinguished leader within the Helm's Bulwark. Responsible for the supervision of key territories and the coordination of regional defense forces, they exemplify honor, strength, and steadfast loyalty to the realm, ready to confront any threat that may arise.
Overseer – Overseers hold crucial positions within the Helm’s Bulwark, they oversee the deployment and training of troops, within their designated locations. Their strategic insight and meticulous planning contibute significantly to the success of operations of the Helm’s Bulwark. They ensure that the Guardians are correctly managing their patrols and stations.
High Steward – High Steward’s oversee and plan logistical and administrative occurances through strategic planning and experience.
Guardian – Guardians are the first rank of officer in the Helm’s Bulwark, they manage patrols, stations and oversee operations.
Protector – Trained medical personnel who are tasked in ensuring that civilians and those of the Helm’s Bulwark stay healthy and ensure wounds are treated to.
Warden - Wardens serve as vigilant sentinels, maintaining order and security within the realm's territories. Tasked with upholding the law and quelling unrest within highly populated cities, they embody the principles of justice and integrity, ensuring that peace prevails even in the face of adversity.
Defender - Defenders form the backbone of the Helm's Bulwark, standing ready to repel invaders and thwart incursions into the realm's sovereign lands. With unwavering determination and unyielding resolve, they hold the line against all threats, drawing strength from their steadfast commitment to protecting the realm and its people.
Steward – Stewards are more experienced Initiates, but are taken off the front line to support operations of the Helm’s Bulwark, aiding with logistics, supply lines and administrative affairs. Through their diligent efforts behind the scenes, they ensure that the warriors of Helm’s Bulwark are well-equipped and provisioned for the challenges ahead.
Initiate – Initiates represent the newest recruits within the Helm's Bulwark, undergoing rigorous training and indoctrination into the ranks of the realm's defenders. With determination and perseverance, they strive to prove themselves worthy of bearing arms in service to Terralia, eager to embark on a journey of honor, duty, and valor.
