Valonian Centralis
Central of Valonia
The main administrative region of Valonia Empire, it is the homeland of Valonian, covering the entirety of the reachable west coast from the edge of the north Jungle to the Dirwen River. In fact, the region cover the same area as the former Kingdom of Valonia (400 - 32 BVE). The other territories outside this become provinces.
This term region was established to distinct themselves while being part of the province system. Sill, many people collectively calls it the province, but better.
Structure
The region consists all cities inside the territories that cited during the Kingdom of Valonia. Each cities has local government with elected governor, managing surrounding area, forming the second-level division, keeping peace with its limited power. The most important city of all is Valone, the capital city and the largest city of the empire. This place contain all Royal Institutes, executing political and economical power that all provinces must follows.
History
Following the end of The War of the Sacked in 1 VE, the Kingdom of Valonia has faced the overexpension that seem to become hard to manage. The Empire of Kritus had its own administrative division system (Regions and provinces). To categorize where the true power of Valonian was, the decision was made to apply this system on their vast territory. It became debatable inside the Senate since it were made by centuries-long rival.
Valus, the king at the time who became the Emperor of Valonia, had the final decision. Despite being called the emperor, Valus considered himself the king, who just took the rank of the Emperor of Kritus. This already made himself a part of the Kritus system, not including the fact that the kingdom territory never changed for two hundred years until the war, which might be easier to mark the Valonian-owned province.
As such, in technical term, the Kingdom of Valonia still exist, but in official documents, it'd be referred as Valonian Centralis, the central of Valonian, of the Valonia Empire.

I love the history section explaining why the province/region system had to come into play, and I like that this one in particular is just the old area of the kingdom. :)
