Emperor of Valonia
The Emperor of Valonia is the title of the ruler of Valonia Empire. Nobody can achieve this unless they're one of the family member of Rarmon Dynasty. It is the highest rank of the entire Valonian society, following by the Adviser and the Catasturions.
Qualifications
The heir apperent usually belong to the eldest son. In fact, only the male are allowed to be as such. If no conditions were met, the eldest daugher secure the title instead. For the consort, they must come from one of the six families, and the next emperor must not choose them from the same family of the current one.
Appointment
Once the emperor died, the heir will be called out immediately to the grand palace by the Senate to acknowledge and succeed a title. The coronation do not take place until the start of the next year to mark the new era of the Valonia Empire.
Duties
The Emperor embodies the symbol of power, wealthy, and faith, which to hold the Valonians across the land together. Faith can be seen as delusional but without the faith - societies would fall apart. The Adviser of Health and the Supervisor of Health, high priests of the Royal Temple, is under the emperor to make them look believable. He also the
Responsibilities
According to Conquest with Stability, travelling across the land to meet their own people are essential for keeping peace, so one of the main mission is to visit any Valonian provinces at least once a month to meet and live with people - all during peacetime. During wartime, however, is different. The Emperor gain a full authority of the whole Gunner Legions. They can either give all Catasturions the order at the Rondius Fort, or fight alongside their soldiers in the battlefield, giving order as the emperor goes.
The Emperor is also the Senetor of the Valonia Senate, the legistrative institute. Every once or twice a month, they hold the meeting at the House of Wisdom to discuss advisers for the sake of the national desicions and future. Laws won't be enacted until the emperor approves, and wars won't be declared until the majority of advisers allow.
Benefits
They gain the personal army called Valegion, the best of the best soldiers in the field, whose the emperor were chosen.
Accoutrements & Equipment
The apperals for the emperor are considered the best of the best. In duties, not only they wear traditional Gunner's Armor with the additional Amethium chain mail and pure white tunic, they also wear the special Amethium chest plate, engraving with flora and the Val's Emblem to symbolize the country glory.
In ceremonies, the emperor worn a purple paludamentum - a cape fastened at one shoulder. Sometime the full body white cloaks is worn instead, or both. Still, having the Amethium chest plate underneath.
History
The ruler of Valonians can be dated back to the early day of the Kingdom era. After banishing from Knirk, the immigrant leader, Val, chose to become the king of the newly found Valone at the end of Dirwen River. Along with his friends, then the founder of six royal families, formed the country.
The title continued for four hundred years until it eventually stopped in 30 BVE in the reign of Ike III after his defeat against the empire they came from. The revenge of his son, Valus, brought back the title under the new name - the emperor.
The Ring of Val
The most obvious symbol of the emperor is the Ring of Val. It's for the emperor only, and no one allows to wear this even in their own bloodline. It must be worn for the rest of their life and must be pulled out as soon as they die. While looking for the new heir or in the regency, no one also allows to touch it. It has to be stored in a secret place until the next coronation.
