The Merchant's Guild
A collective of individuals with a shared interest in the acquisition, purchase, procurement, and resale of goods. The Merchant's Guild currently holds a strong presence in Lothlonde, with a few guild offices in Central Hasdall.
+ Membership +
- Guild membership is offered to individuals who possess an affiinity for commerce, or who offer a service or good that they would like to market on a wider spectrum. Guild halls in the six major cities in Lothlonde will accept applications of any would-be member, but must be reviewed by the primary guild hall in Rowanshyre. A standard good faith investigation and interview will be conducted prior to admission into the guild. References must be provided at the time of interview, and your criminal background must be free and clear for 5 years prior.
+ Dues & Fees +
- Membership Dues: 180gp (15 gp/mo. x 12 mo.)
- Members who elect to pay dues in a lump sum on the start of the fiscal new year receive a discounted price, pay 150gp for the whole year (2 months free)
- Ten days grace will be given on payment of monthly dues. Thirty days absent payment will result in immediate termination of membership.
- Handling Fee: 20% for guild members, 45% for non-members (negotiable)

- Exchange of goods for payment
- Financial account services - savings account, receipt of payment at guild hall of contract origin
- Transport of goods to a location, by a Guild-supplied envoy - 2gp/day (1.5gp/day for members)
- Caravan rentals - Wagons (5sp/ea), Horses (2sp/ea)
- Financial loans - for members only
- Discounts at participating Inns & Taverns - within the 6 Dukedoms of Lothlonde
