Reder Cuthbert is the President of The Merchant's Guild. He was born in the small fishing village of Seofulla on the southern coast of The North Sea. His father died of a mysterious illness when he was young, and he was raised by his mother, Rhalleya. She was affiliated with The Merchant's Guild as a proprietor of linens and textiles, and had made a fairly decent living for herself and young Reder. On his 9th birthday, Rhalleya used a portion of her savings and chartered a boat across The North Sea.
