Alanus
Alanus has been with the Band of the Unfettered Dawn for nearly seven years and serves as one of the Linebreakers, the heavily armored shock troops of the Company. An Imperial, he signed up after his stint in the Legions was over, seeking to make more money than a normal soldier's pay. He acts as a sergeant for Gerard, giving the orders passed down to him to the men and seeing they get done. In battle, he favors a spiked mace that he brought with him to the Company.
Alanus actually organizes an enlisted man's betting pool, serving as the booker for various tournaments among the rank and file. These games range from organizing cards to taking bets on fights between soldiers. If wagers can be made, Alanus will likely be throwing something together among the lower ranks of the Company.
