Personal history
Luminaster is a young officer, married to a daughter of the Boravici. He studied war and battle as part of his upbringing, before he had been given a spot in the Moonstone Guard, bought for by his father in an attempt to attract notice from the Merchant Families. The Boravici had taken notice as word of him spread through the courts of Moonstone as a promising young officer. They offered him a position in the Silver Mirror, the Mercenary Company created by a Boravici scion a few generations back. He performed well enough that when the threat from the Swords of Khana manifested, the Boravici were able to buy the position of War Captain for Luminaster.
Among those in his service were the Band of the Unfettered Dawn, who he had sent first into battle after having them force march to Cat's Eye Grace. By the time his forces arrived, the Band of the Unfettered Dawn had turned the tides of battle in their favor, despite the expectations of the War Captain, who had hoped to arrive and be the one to get the final route. Still, he had led his fresh army in running down the battle weary troops of Agni Kath, assuming much of the glory, especially as the stories omitted that the battle had been mostly won.
Since returning to Moonstone, he has been heralded as the "Hero of Cat's Eye", for stopping the threat of the Swords of Khana.

Despite being married, Luminaster is known to have an active sexual appetite for both men and women, often going through lovers by the season like they were fashion.
Employment
Luminaster serves the Boravici family as the captain of the Silver Mirror, and is currently acting as the War Captain of Moonstone. He had been raised as a minor noble, not one of the great Merchant Families of Moonstone before he had entered the Moonstone Guard.

Relationships
History
The Marriage of Luminaster and Lucrezia Boravici was a political arrangement to bring the promising officer into the Family. Coming from a minor family but showing much potential, Luminaster has married above his standing. The two are still fairly newlywed with only two years since the ceremony was performed.
