Lunleone Oscuro
Lunleone is a member of the (relatively small) Oscuro Merchant Family of Moonstone, the younger son from a third marriage. Given his position in the family, he saw little opportunity to truly advance outside of either gaining fame for his skill or quite a lot of wealth. Young, noble, trained with a sword and given lessons in the Family Business, Lunleone figures he will spend a few seasons abroad, traveling the world, fighting in battles to have stories when he returns home.
From the impression that Bell got from him, the young noble is well-meaning but doesn't fully understand how the mercenary bands work. He was likely raised on stories of second sons starting their own companies to become famed captains and imagines himself as that sort of figure. He might not be a spoiled heir, but he is a privileged son who does not seem to understand how the Oscuro name protected him even as a low ranking member of that family.
