Sandro Vasari is the oldest son of Saverio Vasari and the younger brother of Salonia. He has ruled as Prince of Beryl for three years, since the murder of his father. Still quite young, there were not many on the Council who had wanted to approve his ascension to the rank of Prince, for if he met a natural end, then he could possibly sit on the throne for many many years. Sandro knows that he has his sisters and family to thank for his position. Groomed to be a politician, Sandro is not as completely hopeless nor as big of a fool as many jokingly portray him as. It is simply that while he is competent at maneuvering his way through the complex political situations that the Council of Beryl and the Dragon's Court thrusts him in, he is simply outclassed by his sister.
He considers himself a patron of art and war, and spends much of his time practicing his martial abilities, though he rarely is permitted to take the field himself. The Vasari family used a lot of their social resources in ensuring his election to the Princeship and he must prove that the Vasari are worth the investment, as it were. Still unmarried, Sandro knows he will need to select a wife soon, for the longer he goes without one, the more profit there is in seeing him removed before there is an heir.

Sandro is a handsome man by all accounts, still young and active, thanks to his skill in swordplay. He stands taller than his sister and looks the part of a noble from a Merchant Family in his grooming and his clothes.

Personal history
Sandro grew up with the responsibility that he would one day become Prince. This was not an expectation but rather what his job was, from the time he started learning to read and write. The Vasari are a powerful family, but new to holding the power in the city, and while there were uncles and cousins who could feasibly have succeeded Saverio, they'd not be able to guarantee as much support as a grandson of Alvise Vasari would have. He had not expected it to be thrust on him quite as early as it was, however, when he was only twenty-two. He is still trying to learn many of the nuances that he had expected to learn over at least another decade.
