War Elephant

The War Elephant is a smaller breed than its wild cousin on the Ivory Savanna but it can be tamed and ridden and is often the mount of choice for a Sadha of the People of Sun and River. War elephants are larger than the standard bulls of their species, as they are bred purely for battle. Juveniles can often be ridden by a single steersman. The adult bulls in war carry a wooden platform on their back, housing a steersman and up to three soldiers.
