Fodla is depicted as a plump, smiling woman, usually halfling or beastfolk, wearing the skirts and blouse of a peasant woman, with a basket of food Fodla is a gentle, warm, and loving goddess, one who sets a place for everyone at her table. She believes that all mortals should have a warm place to call home, good food, good cheer, and loving arms to hold them; she is the patron of mothers and families. Despite her good nature, however, she can burn like a hearth fire. Her greatest wrath is directed to those who are miserly and keep resources away from those in need.Relationships
Fodla is the sister of Rhodena, the wife of Caelus, and the mother of Lucetius and Eriu Fodla’s table is always open to the other deities, and she makes a point of being friendly even to those who may be misunderstood, like Gorath. She does not, however, tolerate Tanith’s machinations, and the two goddesses have nearly come to blows on several occasions.Symbols
