Father of the Elven Race might feel like an uncaring god but many elves would point to the contrary. They see him as the first Elf to ascend to godhood and in doing so, becoming the patron of all Elves, trying his best to make his race survive in an uncaring universe. Those that follow his teaching, do their best for the elven race and many would become its protectors.
History
While most would point to the
Wise One or
The Elder as the creators or fathers of the Elven Race, when Corellon sent his vision beyond the stars, even their patrons would agree as this being the ultimate truth. While the
Wise One and
Savioress would in time become the patrons of the elves, Corellon would watch over them, appearing only in dire times. One such moment was the
The Great Rupture when the
Elven Lands were sundered, his avatar would manifest, helping many as survival was crucial for the elves at that time.

Our race is the purest one. Guard it well.
Those that seek our destruction must be dealt with.
Do not falter in your guardianship, because those behind you are counting on you.
Relationships with other Gods
The elves count the Corellon as their father, The Elder as their creator, and Wise One and Saviouress as their "step"-parents. Other elven gods see it as well, even if the Wise One lost his godhood.
