God-Kings of Ossyria

These were Aasimar that were granted godly powers by their patrons in the Ossyrian Pyramid pantheon. Each God-King ruled a part of Ossyria and were unquestioned. Their numbers would fall during the Third Age, Kingdoms when they tried to take over the world during the Rain of Sand event. Those slain would be buried in pyramids and new God-Kings would take their place. Over time the Azura desert would be filled with tombs. Their rule would be finally over during the Fourth Age, The Calamity when all of them would be assassinated by unknown powers and the country would fall into civil conflict. Some of the God-Kings would return as Mummy Kings, while the most powerful ancient ones would still lie in the Great Pyramids of Hopkhet. Will they return?
