Tenebre
Mask of Vengence (a.k.a. Personification of Vengeance)
Tenebre embodies the essence of vengeance. She is drawn to those who are willing to devote themselves entirely to this concept. Her offspring, known as Doppelgangers, roam the Material Plane, ensuring the perpetuation of vengeance, whether through acts of murder or by incitement. These beings are characterized by their deep-seated hatred. Another group influenced by Tenebre's presence is the Changelings, originally humans who became lost in the Shadow Reflection. It is widely speculated that when a Doppelganger or Changeling assumes the face of someone no longer living, that face likely belongs to an individual who either perished while pursuing vengeance or was a victim of a vengeful act. These visages, representing both the avengers and the avenged, coalesce into Tenebre's form. To her followers, she manifests as a towering construct of masks and faces, each one a testament to the endless cycle of vengeance.
