Arch Mage

The Arch Mage has historically been the right hand of the Lord Arcane(now known as the Arcanus), working as their assistant but also with their authority in matters where the Lord Arcane is not present. In the Lord Arcane's stead the Arch Mage acts as the senior advisor of the High council and Caesar in regards to magical matters, and heads the advisory body known as the magical council. They co-ordinate all magics in the Warhost and in the nation at large, overseeing the use and research of DNT magic.

The Arch-Mage is assisted by the Gunstling, and may recruit them in their absolute discretion.

Duties

The Arch-Mage is a member of the Magical Council and is responsible for coordinating all official Elemental and Shamanic research and usage. 
They must alsoliaise with the Kreigsmagier for battlefield purposes.
