The Black Forest Elves
The Black Forest Elves are made up of three distinct clans that live within the borders of the Great Forest. Centrally is The Roots, with two main families seated as the elders that run the settlement - continuing their traditions of selective breeding to enhance the magical ability of the population, and their passion for Shamanic and Ritual Magics, being a rather insular people.
Further out are The Branches, made up of three smaller settlements which are far more communicative with the outside world, though capable of being just as suspicious as The Roots, and having a more free interest in all Magics and other crafts too, less focused on the one.
Between these two, moving about the trees as they see fit, are The Cluster, who never settle but camp wherever they see fit for a week or so at a time. Many of them are known as brutal fighters, practical to the extreme and also known for their use of Corporeal Magic outside of its healing capabilities.
Before Sable, these three communities were safely undetected by the outside world for time out of mind. Now that They have seen and been seen by the World, there are those seizing it with both hands, those stepping tentatively, and those still suspicious and uncertain of all that has come since.
