Blue Pearl

The Temple of Marin - God of the Sea in Oratin is the largest and most significant in all of Etheron Luth, it’s known as the Blue Pearl. This grand temple sits majestically along the coastline, where the sound of waves crashing against the cliffs echoes throughout its halls. Constructed from sea-weathered stone and adorned with intricate carvings of sea creatures.
The temple’s main hall is open to the sea, with large arches framing the view of the ocean. The floor is often damp with seawater, and an intricate system of channels allows seawater to flow through the temple. A towering statue of Marin, holding a trident, stands at the far end of the hall, with offerings of shells, pearls, and other oceanic treasures laid at its feet.
Worshipers come here to seek Marin’s blessings for safe voyages, bountiful catches, and protection from the sea’s wrath. Sailors, shipbuilders and fishermen come to this place to ask priests to join them at their boats and bless them, to make sure they are able to catch fish, reach their destinations and that new ships will stay afloat.
Beneath the temple lies an underwater shrine accessible only during low tide, this location is reserved only for the high priests of Marin.
