Although The Unclaimed Lands may appear on maps in equal standing to nations such as The Grand Duchy of Chalk or the Principality of Pods, it is not an organised country. Similar to The Wildlands on The Eastern Continent, The Unclaimed Lands are a collection of independent cities and towns, who have by mutual agreement decided that there should be no governing body above them. Each settlement in The Unclaimed Lands stands on its own.
