Dimir Mercenary Company
To join the Dimir Mercenary Company, your skills and/or methods must have garnered the attention of a Goldkranz. The Geldkranz will then decide how you will be initiated, by either fighting them to join their Kader, or defeating summoned monsters to welcome a new Kader of the Dimir Mercenary Company, immediately assigned as Kader 100. There are 100 Goldkranz, and each Goldkranz leads their own Kader within the DMC, if a 101st party joins the DMC, Kader 1 is then promoted into Abendrot, or Kader 0, a secretive band of mercenaries working directly under the Unholdsjaeger.
The Dimir Mercenary Company is the most efficient operating military force in all of The Trifecta Provinces; if you have made an enemy of the Dimir Mercenary Company but have not prepared for war, your cause will die with you.
Every Kader is trusted with deciding which jobs they do or do not take on, with deployments from the Unholdsjaeger only happening in the face of a clear and present danger. In the case of such a threat, all 100 Geldkranz are summoned to the Giesserei where a plan of action is formulated, and the appropriate deployment is made, is it a job for Mietlings? A job for Geldkranz? A job for Abendrot? A job for everyone? We should sure hope not.
Castle Dimir functions the headquarters for the Dimir Mercenary Company, but nothing for the DMC is above ground level. Castle Dimir has multiple sub-basements containing the barracks for Abendrot, training grounds, and The Giesserei on its lowest level. Abendrot's barracks are in the first sub-basement, with enough sleeping space for all 13 members of Abendrot, a staffed kitchen, a gambling parlor, and a medical ward. Abendrot Training Ground is located in the second sub-basement, and it contains a Simulacrum Generator for endless combat training without any risk of danger. The is located in the final sub-basement, which is also the largest sub-basement. The Giesserei looks like a massive amphitheater made of Slate and Gold, with a central podium for the Unholdsjaeger and 100 seats for the Geldkranz.
