Argog

The Deity of Destruction Argog

In the smoke after a battle, when everything is still and bleeding and dead, he's there. Int the blown puple of a man gone insane, his smile shines. In the stink of decay he lingers, in the twinkle of a politians corrupt tooth, in the glimmer of a golden mirror looted after a battle, he waits.   In the wake of The Age of Blood, the height of his power, his influence seems to have disiated in the east. In his absence, the people grew complacent and kind. Plump and fat on compation and trust. And yet, in the hearts of men he simmers. In the flash of gold he waits. In the taste of rot he revels.   Argog waits for his next welcome.   Be warned.

Domains

War

He is primarily a war god. He sits in the heart of the fight, all snarls and snapping teeth ready to go for the throat. Argog delights in carnage. His delight is nothing like the lighthearted comrauderi of Biwwi after a brawl. It's dark and destructive, searching only for the next exersize of personal power.

Destruction

Following his chaos comes the weight of destruction. Nothing he touches stays up. He is the force of rot, of crumble, of decay. He comes at the end of things and digs his fingers into its base. When time is up, he rips it out. As natural as a process destruction is, its hated and feared by all but his followers.

Chaos

Argog holds the seeds of chaos. It's what he's known for--the touch of insanity. At the height of his influence, people reported watching their opponents go insane on the battle feild. They saw gold and red and then the rage of gods decended in a whirlwind. He doesn't have sides, simply a desire to make things worse. And yet, It's chaos that brings the rainstorm and moves the currents along, making way for a new seed of life.

Death

At the end of it all, comes death. He is considered more a harbringer of Death, while reapers and spirits are it's servants. Where he goes, Death must follow. It's inevitable. Out of all the deities, he is the one who struggles against it most. In Many depiction, Argog courts death rather than it being part of him. In others, it is the heart of him, an open maw yawning to consume all it can to try and tame his nature.

Common Appearance

Due to his nature, Argog is the least consistant of the Florik Pantheon. While the others have settled in some fashion, Argog is constantly changing. His form seems to buzz between shapes, twisting and warping--like a living glitch. One moment he can be a monster, the next a war general in decorated armor, and then the next a young boy with bloody teeth. He is governed by what he is: A god of Chaos.   And yet, through all his iterations, there are parts of him that stay the same. His eyes, for one, will always shimmer blindlingly gold. As will his hair. At the height of his power, Argog's hair billowed long and gold, like liquid or fire. His skin is like charcoal, flaking off and black, corrupting everything it touches.

Worshipers

They are few and far between, but those that do still intentionally seek out Argo are fanatics and determined. He tends to atrract those who are on the fringes of society, those who harbor a deepseated anger and contempt for the world. When they gather--which is rarely. Anoucing you are an official follower of Argog is not seen as a good thing--they do so under the dark of night and cloth. In larger cities, they call themselves The Black Hand
