Profile

Miss Sage had made her way out of the Feywilds where she grew up into the material plane. She was looking for answers to [REDACTED] and found herself in an ancient, hidden library. Digging through these ancient texts she lost track of time, she may have been in there for days. Her water and food supplies were running low and that is the only way she knew time had passed.

She eventually picked up a book with confusing and mysterious writing. She knows several languages and while trying to process if this ancient language had any roots in the languages she knows, she was hit with a shock of physic pain and blacked out.

When she came to she was in the middle of the forest that she found the library in and lost, with two books in her hand. The book with eldritch writings that she has never opened again out of fear, and the book that has become her spell book. She was also bestowed several other gifts once she came to, the powers of her patron, The Great Old One (who she knows of now), constant eldritch whisperings, the ability to speak into any creature's mind and the ability to read anything, in any language.

Sage, in need of coin and seeing an opportunity and safety, saw an opening at the ARA. She is very distrusting of an organization that claims to be good and what's the best way to figure out what's going on in an org than to infiltrate it?

Up until Mission 4, Sage just believed the trauma of things prior to coming to the material plane and triggered schizophrenia. But after a bitch named Arthur turned her into a cat and was hiding behind a damn statue horocrux situation, and with the fact she only has mind attack spells, she out of fear of what would happen to her and her coworkers scrambled for a solution. She was overcome with a power, her eyes went white and she started to lose time and control of her body again and sent off a shot of eldritch blast at the statue blowing off stupid arthurs head. (that's what he gets for oogling at her all night).

After this mission she ran to the library to figure out what the fuck that was about and her bff Vena the librarian was like "oh bestie, I knew you were a warlock my love. You were just in denial <3". Sage is, however, still mentally unwell. Traumatized and tormented by the constant whispers. She is, straight up, insane (and I love her).

Physical Description

Sage has Teal eyes, lavender hair and pale skin. She is 5'10" but only 120 pounds so she's a straggly little thing (she has 6 strength btw). The way she moves, especially when she's joking about and messing with people, it seems almost like she's floating, like she may have had wings and could be weightless maybe once in a life long passed.

Familiar

Mildred is Sage's familiar. She is the best baby. She is a 1 to 1 copy of Millie because I love my cat (except as a familiar she listens when I ask her to do stuff). There may come a time that Mildred gets transformed into another form to help on missions, but her natural Fey state is cat.

Sage is a fairy researcher and academic that fled her home, accidentally made a pact with an eldritch god and started working for the ARA.
