Venandi Silve

Profile

Venandi is a well-respected member of the ARA, and a seasoned hunter of beasts and aberrations alike. Despite this, he has been saddled with management tasks almost entirely to the exclusion of field work since his promotion to commanding officer of the Root (and eventually Core) Division. Talk around the ARA is that Venandi is a skilled investigator who can extract the truth from even the most complex of puzzle boxes, and that to get on his good side you'll need to prove yourself capable first.

Physical Description

Venandi has a neatly-trimmed beard, hazel green eyes, and very short, dark hair. He is tall and well-built, his muscle tone visible despite his very conservative, professional-looking attire composed of a fancy, well-fitted hunting tunic and long pants. Venandi has several rings on his fingers of various gemstones, a pocket watch in his pants pocket, a number of belts with small pockets, and big, practical boots. He has several scars on his arms, and one very prominent one that runs from the bridge of his nose to his cheekbone. Venandi's expression is usually very serious, and his voice is surprisingly smooth despite his gruffness.

Relationships

The Party

Venandi is your chief commanding officer, and the one giving you your missions. He appreciates those of you who are no-nonsense and waste no time getting the job done. Those of you who insist on making "jokes" in front of him have been known to cause him to utter the words "Get out of my office." That said, Venandi is proud of the work your party has done, and feels confident giving you missions that are of higher importance. Perhaps one day, should you prove yourselves enough, the entire lot of you can be promoted past the Core Division to something even greater.

Silex

Silex is Venandi's wolf familiar. He is rarely seen, since most of his time is spent outside of headquarters dealing with whatever Venandi has tasked him with. He has a magical collar that was retrieved on a mission several years ago and modified by Desmo to allow him to communicate telepathically with other creatures and humanoids. Supposedly, Venandi will occasionally speak through Silex directly when such discretion is required.

Lupin Raoul

Not much is known about Venandi's relationship with Lupin, other than that they've known each other for some years now. Lupin knows at least some of the secrets of the ARA, since he knows how to spot an undercover agent, and has been inside ARA Headquarters at least a dozen times, according to Vena. He is a trusted ally of Venandi, and may or may not be directly affiliated with the ARA itself.
