Luria
Luria, the venerated Goddess of Life and Light, stands as the most exalted and widely worshipped deity in the Realms of Luralon. Hailed by her faithful as the divine aspect of life and renewal, Luria takes primacy of place among the pantheon of primary gods, known as the Aethyron, or the Children of Luralon, in the common parlance. She is often depicted as a golden figure in white or gold robes. She is also frequently shown carrying a staff that harnesses the energy of stars. According to her adherents, the power of Luria's loving light binds all life in the universe. As the chief deity of the Ottriban Empire, the worship of Luria was imposed by imperial decree and enforced by the implacable dominance of the Lurian Church for six centuries.
Though Luria is widely regarded as the divine illuminator of the world, it is said that her cataclysmic wrath brought an end to the Age of Aether and plagued the mortal realms with sixty-six years of destruction and terror. The Beholding, as it came to be known, brought with it a tide of mass desolation and despair. Millions perished as Luria's light traversed the realm, laying waste to ancient empires and transforming the very creation in the goddess's likeness.
