Aegr
The Aegr (sometimes called Goliaths by other races) are a proud and tribal people, descended from the giants in ages past. Today they live isolated lives in the mountains of Artha, keeping to themselves mostly.

- Natural Athlete. You have proficiency in the Athletics skill.
- Stone's Endurance. You can focus yourself to occasionally shrug off injury. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to roll a d12. Add your Constitution modifier to the number rolled, and reduce the damage by that total. After you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
- Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
- Mountainborn. You’re acclimated to high altitude, including elevations above 20,000 feet. You’re also naturally adapted to cold climates, as described in chapter 5 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide.

Social Structure
Aegr live in highly structured clans and tribes. Although they value individual freedoms, their tight codes and laws keep their societies from falling prey to the dangerous mountains and their vicious inhabitants.
Facial characteristics
Aegr are known for their lush hair and strong builds. Males sport rather impressive manes, thick bushy brows and sometimes enormous beards. Even females keep their facial hair mostly untouched. Their thick fur-like hair help the aegr keep warm in cold mountainous winds.
Civilization and Culture
History
The Aegr trace back their roots to the giants of Artha. Through breeding with smaller races the aegr came to be. Their large stature and giant roots caused many of the aegr to live rather isolated and tribal lives far away from the troubles of the world.

Aegr average around 2,1 to 2,5 meters tall.
Average Weight
Aegr average around 120 to 150 kilograms.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Aegr prefer an outdoor lifestyle. As such, most aegr are fairly tanned with skintones of earth-like colorings. Their haircolor ranges from blonde, through red to black. As the aegr ages their hair often grows grey or even silvery white.
