Dragonkin
Dragonkind is the species family name of all dragon-blooded creatures, most infamous ofcourse are dragons themselves. Besides dragons, many other subspecies fall within the dragonkin family; wyverns, drakes, serpentdragons to name a few.
Basic Information
Anatomy
No single anatomical description faithfully describes all of dragonkin. One of the few characteristic that is true for all dragonkin is that they all bond strongly to elemental and magickal forces.
Genetics and Reproduction
Most species belonging to the dragonkin family lay eggs.
Civilization and Culture
History
Dragonkin were once a titanic force on Artha. They are practically unmatched in sheer might and cunning. In their height of power, a period named The Dragonscourge, dragonkin ruled over all Artha with dragons as ruthless tyrants until their mysterious downfall.
After this, all dragonkin disappeared. Dragonkin are now presumed extinct.
