Basic Tenets

Truth--Khalerial has the task of sifting right from wrong, truth from lies, and guilt from innocence. She knows that the Truth is the most painful of all absolutes; she sees it constantly and her eyes bleed from the resulting pain of its revelation.

Justice & Judgment--As the harbinger of Judgment & Justice, she is unbiased and unwavering. Relentless in pursuit and

Debts Owed--As the Collector of Debts, she is sometimes granted a more avaricious aspect; pursuing those who are absent in repaying their debts.

Perseverance--Khalerial wards the way for those who face insurmountable odds in seeking justice or peace. She protects abused women, mistreated children, and even casts a protective eye upon the small animals that face danger amongst Mankind each day. See Varema.

Advanced Tenets

In pursuit of justice and, at times, a red vengeance, her followers are allowed to take lives on their own initiative though their cause or retribution must be just. To balance this life-taking, those dedicated to Khalerial are forbidden to eat meat except on holy days belonging to herself or (POWER OF HUNT) and certain seasonal events when such meat is gathered during a Sacred Hunt. At all other times, Khalerial's devoted are champions of all life that obeys the natural order. They have been known to stop in the midst of a battle to relocate small animals, disrupt entire street processions to allow an egg-carrying insect to pass safely across the road.

Holidays

Last Moon of Autumn

Also known as the 'Killing Moon', it is considered by many to be ill-aspected but those who seek justice or the favor of Khalerial consider it an auspicious day for oaths and promises. Most temples will hold an all-night vigil of hooded and silent priestesses within the Inner Sanctum. It is the one night of the year in which anyone, male or female, may enter the Inner Sanctum and pray for retribution directly to the Power.
