DASTAR is a walled island in a starry field of space consisting of its own replenishing atmosphere, no weather, a single massive main building, and several more recent additional offshoot structures. The facility has fallen on hard times and shows centuries of wear and repair as well as signs of damage from weapons of different types and different age ranges. Original paint and other signage can still be seen under a patina of rust and dust. The general technology of the facilities is still operational as are the automatons which offered services to guests, however, the machines have upgraded and adapted themselves over time to confront the changing realities of DASTAR. In the past entities have pierced the walls of this haven in order to search for imagined treasures only to be driven off by the upgraded and adjusted automatons.
