The Presentation Hall

The glamour of the original design of the presentation hall should be apparent from under the wear and tear, damaged sections, and general disuse of its current circumstance. Also, individual areas of the presentation hall will have been coopted by the automatons in order to better defend areas and access to the other facilities.    The last product demonstrations are still active as are the kiosks for food and souvenirs. The final main stage presentation should be an act three story crescendo.
The grand presentation hall came to be the most popular and useful facility of The Artifactorium within DASTAR. Shortly after the creation of The Artifactorium, the first Stone Industries symposium was held and with it, the presentation hall was fully utilized. The hall was built in between the other wings of the facility affording simple and quick access from the design hall, the production hall, and Bafflestone's private rooms and was designed to provide show-spaces for new technology, gift shops, cafeteria, and finally a large open-air presentation space.

Purpose / Function

The purpose of The Presentation Hall was to provide extended space for large gatherings in order to promote new product offerings as well as foment business relationships from a position of strength. Initial designs were adjusted to include product demonstrations, food offerings and a gift shop which all followed the initial design philosophy.

Alterations

The only alterations done to the presentation hall were in the initial design phases when the bi-lateral wings were added around the primary stage area and after The Artifactorium was abandoned and second-generation automatons began to consider defensive potions and fortification post-incursion.

Architecture

The architecture of the presentation hall is said to be from the mind of Zook Bafflestone himself but will remind players of a more Greco-roman influence. There are columns and statues around the outside of the facility as well as within the main open-air presentation space. Internally, the facility was originally designed to be welcoming with hardwood floors, calming internal color palettes, and ample light from windows and sconces.    Post-incursion, the presentation hall began to take on a more industrialized look as windows were covered with metal plates and repairs were made with materials from on hand. Aspects of incursion-styled materials can be found in repairs made on both the facility and some post-incursion second-generation automatons.
