The Dragonborn
The dragonborn - a race that keeps mostly to themselves within the Ashen Lands, can be found to the east of the Din Crater Basin. Residing in indivdual village-states they affectionately call Duchies, they have long isolated themselves from the rest of the lands beginning as far back as the Grand Age. WIth the advent of The Caravans, contact has slowly been initiated, and rarely dragonborn can be found within the towns and villages of the remainder of the Ashen Lands.
Many caravans heading east carry with them Jade from Jade CIty in the hopes of selling them at high markup to the dragonborn, although no one outside the duchies is sure what it is used for...
