Grand Age
The Grand Age, heralded by The Rupture, saw great duchies and strong monarchies vying for power, figures larger than life slaying beasts larger still, knights defending the weak and pursuing all that is good, and legends of dark forces mothers still use to scare children to sleep at night.
The introduction of Starrite led to the boon and stigmatization of magic as it was revolutionized into a weapon of grave destruction even a novice could wield. The gods themselves fought on the material place, and hordes of terrors and creature alike clashed with legendary figures as death became a normal part of the Ashen Land's peoples' lives. The Grand Age began with The Rupture, and ended with The Cracking of Hope.
