Aeroboards
Aeroboards are skydiving boards equipped with controls found in aircraft and drones called ailerons and wings.
Aeroboards are made from Aerographite with a titanium alloy bezel that enables them to be both durable and flexible for aerial maneuvers with their geometric hex grid pattern allowing the board to retract into a smaller shape for storage on a Tactical Belt.
Aeroboards can collect Aura energy to give limited boosts of power when ridden by an experience Aura user. Their design is also modular allowing customization for the user. They were popularized on the floating cloud cities of Venus.
Utility
Aeroboarding is in it's infancy as a technology and are largely for recreational use, but some hunters such as Dante have used them in combinaiton with other technologies such Smart Clothing and Dante's cape which when combined with Aura allow the rider to freely control their descent from any fall. Certain Aura Boosting techniques can even slow the descent in the event of a board malfunction (i.e. loss of power to manipulate ailerons, although this is rare due to Thermoelectric generators installed on the boarders allowing it to receive power directly from Aura energy channeled through the user.
