Flame Oil

A liquid concoction created with Sartan venom. Flame Oil, when lit, ignites and burns for an extended period of half an hour or more. Concentrated flame oil, which is far more costly to produce, will explode upon ignition and is used to make pots of fire. As Sartans are native only to the deserts of Arad, including the Meleatte in particular, the substance is produced almost exclusively in Thripia and is generally considered to be of higher quality than substances of similar function from other parts of the world. It was first discovered by Phe o Chronilia.
