Atûn

As the celestial bodies began to fissure and crack, giving birth to the Eshan, there was one such body that was unlike the others.   The full measure of Atûn’s personal character was displayed in his dying years. At the time of the Velgasid Etag, the powers of Aebaster were hurled into Corgastor and his allies to offset the natural superiority of the Etayen race. Combined with the shameful betrayal of Nassarus Nathroghal, the Etûletal were steadily driven back toward the Semyr. Their empire was overstretched, and the arrival of reinforcements from elsewhere was followed up uprising in those places, whether Othos, Nevan, or the Seymenasi. Atûn recognized the need to intervene with his own Eshara, which was against his own desires and the original intentions of Vojûn. This new energy balanced the field for a time, causing the Aemar and Voletal to slow in their vicious advance, but this was costly. Aebaster weakened himself to sacrifice needed Eshara, but Atûn was required to sacrifice more at an incredible rate. The centuries of growth which was built within his essence was vaporized like water beneath the light of Éshabal. He suffered, but it was for his race.
