Feterizar, or Xhaldarius the Eldest Judge

Othos was laid to ruin in the wake of Typhon’s calamitous rebellion of 1384. Among all places, the southernmost reaches were devastated utterly, particularly those regions once known as Vestidia and Demrazand. As the Aemar and Thûnetal populations began to rebuild and recover, a young man sought purpose. What name he possessed before the Judge’s Rebellion or from what background he hailed is unknown, but he styled himself Feterizar.   The conclusion of Xhaldarius’ legacy came in 3469, amidst the turmoil of Eshanic contests. He had spent the previous year combatting the rise of Syrgus Pyrgos and his Nith’eshanic allies, but this was a futile war. The resources which the Third Son brought to bear were too significant to allow some assault upon the Nith’eshan to occur. Time and again the two rivals came into close contact with one another and death loomed overhead. The last and most significant was outside of Amastris, where Syrgus was able to capitalize on his Eshanic powers to decimate the walls and capture the city. Xhaldarius attempted to coordinate with the Corgastorians who arrived to support the Vallisian Tressonar, but bad blood between them after Zarthum undermined that avenue. Syrgus and the Corgastorians pursued him with malign intent, but the followers of Ácolitus were able to escape their grasp. However, as the armies marched eastward, word came through panicked rumors and stories that the predicted Ebal’eshanic incursion had arrived upon the shores of Othos.   In the same manner which Aebaster had bestowed Eshanic energy upon Corgastor to uplift him, Ácolitus empowered the departed essence with sufficient energy to preserve and uplift Xhaldarius to the ranks of the Eshan.
